(West Harrison, Ind.) - A Dearborn County Sheriff’s deputy was attacked over the weekend in West Harrison.
The deputy was responding to a physical battery report on the 25000 block of Brightridge Drive Saturday afternoon.
When the deputy arrived, the suspect – Marc Ruff, of West Harrison - busted out the driver side window of the cruiser.
Ruff took off on foot but was caught a short time later.
He is charged with Residential Entry, Battery, Intimidation, Resisting Law Enforcement and two counts of Criminal Mischief.
Ruff remains held in the Dearborn County Law Enforcement Center as he awaits his first court appearance.
