(Indianapolis, Ind.) - Texting while driving for drivers of all ages has been banned by the Indiana Senate.
It's currently against the law for teenage drivers to text and drive.
The Senate bill needs to be merged with a similar measure that has already passed the House before going to Governor Mitch Daniels for his signature.
While opponents of texting and driving say the practice is very dangerous, others raised worries about how police could know if someone was texting or just dialing the phone.
