(Ohio County, Ind.) – A barn and everything in it were destroyed by fire Wednesday afternoon on Salem Ridge Road in Ohio County.

Rising Sun Volunteer Fire Department public information officer Nick Levi says the department was called out around 1:42 p.m. to 7417 Salem Ridge Road.

Crews remained on the scene for about two-and-a-half hours putting out hot spots.

Nobody was hurt in the blaze.

A dollar amount on the lost property has yet to be determined. The cause of the fire is also under investigation.

Rising Sun firefighters were assisted at the scene by Ohio County EMS, Ohio County Sheriff Department, Bear Branch Fire Department, and East Enterprise Fire Department.
