(Bright, Ind.) - A woman was hurt after a crash where she swerved to miss a dog in the road.
Dearborn County emergency responders were called to Stateline Road near Bright Fire Department #2 just before 1:30 p.m.
According to the sheriff's department, Donna Clark, 70, was driving a 1997 Buick when a dog crossed her path. To miss the dog, Clark swerved her vehicle off the roadway causing it to flip.
Clark was trapped in the vehicle until Bright firefighters were able to extricate her.
She was taken to Dearborn County Hospital by Bright Life Squad to be treated for complaints of pain to her hand and chest.
The crash remains under investigation by the Dearborn County Sheriff's Department.
