(Greendale, Ind.) - A Greendale couple is in trouble with the law after child services workers find drugs in their home.
Margie M. Gibson, 28, and Charles D. Gregory, 32, are each charged with Possession of Marijuana, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Paraphernalia and Neglect of a Dependent.
Department of Child Services went to the couple’s Elsbury Court home Friday, Jan. 21 after a complaint that drugs were seen lying around the home where children were present.
According to a court affidavit, once inside, the agent allegedly found burned joints, plant material, and other paraphernalia. There was also a rolled up dollar bill with white powder.
After obtaining a search warrant Greendale Police discovered dozens of prescription pills in the home.
Gibson and Gregory remain held Thursday at the Dearborn County Law Enforcement Center each on a $5,000 cash and $25,000 surety bond. They will appear in a pre-trial hearing on March 22 in Dearborn Superior Court II.
