Boone County Sheriff's Office
(Burlington, Ky.) - It’s 15 years in prison for a Hebron man convicted of killing his infant daughter.
Benjamin Senseman was found guilty of second degree manslaughter and criminal abuse in Boone Circuit Court last month. On Wednesday, Judge James Schrand ordered Senseman to serve the maximum sentence for each count concurrently – 10 years for the manslaughter charge and five for the abuse.
The 32-year-old will be eligible for parole in three years.
Senseman’s wife, Laura, was tried at the same time but was found not guilty.
Police were called to the Senseman’s Princess Court home on July 12, 2009 when Chloe Senseman – just two months old – was not breathing. Laura Senseman was at work at the time.
Chloe later died at the hospital, but an autopsy showed she had suffered various injuries including broken bones which had occurred at different times.
