(Brookville, Ind.) - A Franklin County woman died in a crash Tuesday afternoon.

Yvonne Murray, 59, was driving eastbound on U.S. 52 just east of Park Road when her pickup truck went off the right side of the highway and struck a tree around 12:47 p.m., according to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department.

Deputies say Murray, of Laurel, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Franklin County Coroner’s Office.

The crash is still under investigation.

The sheriff’s department was assisted at the scene by Brookville EMS 2, Rescue 24, Responder 24 and Metamora firefighters.
