Police Don’t Buy “Officer” Claim

(Harrison, Oh.) – A North Bend man is in jail accused of telling police responding to a burglary call that he was a police officer.

 

Brandon Offill, 19, was charged Saturday with Impersonating an Officer and Burglary.

 

Police accused Offill of breaking into an apartment on Tall Oaks Circle in Harrison that day and attempting to steal a computer.

 

Offill reportedly told police he was “Officer Jenkins.”

 

Arraignment for Offill is scheduled for Monday morning in Hamilton County Common Pleas Court.
