Update posted at 12:47 p.m.:
Indiana State Police report that Interstate 74 westbound near Greensburg has reopened. The highway had been shut down following a semi accident around 10:00 a.m. Thursday.
There were two secondary and less severe wrecks as a result of the backup created by the first crash at the 136 mile marker.
"Motorists should continue to exercise caution especially in the areas where emergency vehicles and wreckers are trying to clear the roadway," said ISP Sgt. Noel Houze.

(Decatur County, Ind.) – Weather is likely to blame for a semi crash that has shut down westbound Interstate 74 in Decatur County.
The crash occurred just after 10:00 a.m. two miles east of Greensburg
I-74 westbound traffic has been re-routed to S.R. 46 from New Point exit 143 and can re-enter the interstate from exit 134.
It is unknown if anybody was hurt in the accident.
