Rep. Jud McMillin (R-Brookville) |
McMillin (R-Brookville) will hold his first town hall of 2011 Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Franklin County High School, 1 Wildcat Lane, Brookville.
The meeting is open to any issue the public wants to discuss, but education will be the main focus.
Governor Mitch Daniels is urging the 2011 General Assembly to pass sweeping reforms during the current legislative session, including vouchers for charter schools, revising teacher evaluations, and a later start to the school year.
"Many of the issues up for debate this year will affect the lives of citizens in our community. I look forward to keeping the lines of communication open and hearing what people have to say," McMillin said.
