Army Pfc. Zachary Salmon, 21, was killed when he was hit by sniper fire last Wednesday.
Salmon’s body will arrive at Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport from Dover Air Force Base sometime Wednesday. From there it will be escorted to Fitch Denney Funeral Home in Lawrenceburg.

A private burial for family and close friends will be held Friday following the mass at Riverview Cemetery in Aurora.
Salmon, who grew up in Harrison and lived with his mother in Hebron before moving to Tennessee, leaves behind a number of family in the tri-state including a three-year-old son, Noah.
A candlelight vigil is planned for Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. outside his mother’s home in Hebron.
The family is asking that donations be made to the Zachary Salmon Memorial Fund. Proceeds will go towards raising his son.
