(Dillsboro, Ind.) – Emergency crews received an early wake-up call after a crash on U.S. 50 in Dillsboro.

Two vehicles collided head-on in the eastbound lanes about a quarter-mile west of the intersection with State Road 262 around 5:45 a.m. Monday.

It is unknown if anybody was injured in the crash.

The eastbound lanes of U.S. 50 were closed at the accident scene for over an hour.

Dearborn County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a cause of the crash.
