(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Folks who can’t usually afford legal assistance may have a free opportunity for advice soon.

The “Talk to a Lawyer Today” program will be held by The Legal Volunteers of Southeast Indiana, Inc.  on Monday,  Jan. 17.

The pro bono program allows opens law office doors for a free 15 minute consultation with a local attorney.  D

Dearborn, Jefferson, Ohio, Ripley, and Switzerland counties will be involved at two locations from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. One at  the Dearborn Chamber of Commerce, 320 Walnut Street, Lawrenceburg, and the other in Jefferson County at Harry’s Stone Grill, 621 Clifty Drive, Madison.

Those unable to make it in person can call a statewide hotline from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 800-266-2581.
