(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Some old faces are in new positions at the Dearborn County Sheriff’s Department.

Mike Kreinhop took over as sheriff earlier this month after winning the Nov. 2 election.
Kreinhop has appointed his predecessor, former sheriff Dave Lusby to Chief Deputy. The appointment allows Lusby to continue a 21 year career with the Dearborn County Sheriff’s Department.
Sgt. Jack Praratt, a 15 year veteran of the department, has been promoted to Major and now heads the investigation division.
Deputy David Funch has been assigned as the new Public Information Officer to serve as a liaison with news media and the public. Funch has been a member of the department for 14 years.
Dearborn County Special Crimes Unit leader Thomas McKay has been tapped as a Special Deputy with the rank of lieutenant. The former Rising Sun Chief of Police with 24 years law enforcement experience will supervise the drug section of the investigation division.
