(Brookville, Ind.) - Two Ripley County men are busted for going on a crime spree causing thousands of dollars in damage to family farms.
Indiana State Police arrested 19-year-olds Kenneth Partlow, of Sunman, and Travis Christenberry, of Batesville, on Monday. They are now held at the Franklin County Jail.
Partlow is charged with four counts of Burglary (C felony) and single counts of Arson (B felony), Criminal Mischief (D felony), Criminals Mischief (B misdemeanor).
Christenberry faces one count of Arson (B felony).
Police had been investigating since the cases began occurring in Franklin, Ripley, and Decatur counties several months ago. Multiple agencies gathered in October to share intelligence and determine the incidents were related.
While Partlow and Christenberry are behind bars and could face more charges, the state police say more arrests could follow.
Assisting Indiana State Police Detective Kip Main in the investigation were Batesville Police and the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department.
