(Batesville, Ind.) – Southeast Indiana’s first baby of 2011 came Tuesday, Jan. 4 at Margaret Mary Community Hospital in Batesville.

Born at 6:16 p.m., Isabella Payton became the first baby born at the hospital in 2011. Her parents are Cody and Stacy Fuqua, of Osgood.

Delivered by Kimberly Kick, MD, she weighed 6 lbs. 7 oz. and is 19.5 inches long.

With a due date of Dec. 28, Isabella was more than one week late to be the first baby of 2011.
