(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Parents of students at Greendale Middle School are on edge about bed bugs.
A student squashed a bed bug in the school’s computer lab Wednesday.
Lawrenceburg Community Schools Superintendent Karl Galey tells Eagle 99.3 that there is no outbreak of the bugs in the school. The bug discovered in the lab has been the only one found.
Inspectors with the Dearborn County Health Department were called in to look through the lab and other parts of the school to find any evidence of other bed bugs.
Galey says an exterminator will come to the school Friday night and spray for the troublesome bugs as a precautionary measure before students return to class next week.
