(St. Leon, Ind.) – Icy roads are being blamed for a deadly crash Thursday evening in St. Leon.

Lois Kimball, of Sunman, was on State Road 46 just west of State Road 1 at about 6:55 when she hit an icy spot and lost control of her GMC Envoy. Roads were becoming very slick at the time as a snow squall moved through southeast Indiana.
The SUV went off the road and overturned, coming to a rest on its top.
Kimball, 64, was rushed to Margaret Mary Hospital in Batesville where she died.
Dearborn County Sheriff’s deputies are still investigating the wreck.
St. Leon Fire & EMS and Sunman EMS assisted at the accident scene.
This is the second fatal accident in Dearborn County this week. On Tuesday evening, Melvin Stockton, Jr., 52, of Bright, died after crashing his car on U.S. 50 in Greendale.
