Baylor Trucking was selected to be the lead truck of Wreaths Across America envoy last week.
Founded in 1992, Wreaths Across America is a non-profit organization sending wreaths to every gave at Arlington National Cemetery and various war memorials in Washington, D.C.
Baylor sent two trucks to lead the way for truckloads of wreaths from the Worcester Wreath Company in Harrington, Maine to Arlington. Baylor president and owner Bob Baylor – also an Army veteran - and his daughter Cari Baylor drove one truck while company driver and Marine veteran Barry Veinotte commanded the other.
A ceremony followed at the hallowed burial ground last Saturday, Dec. 11. Hundreds of volunteers helped set a wreath at each headstone.
