(Fort Wayne, Ind.) - For the first ever, the Indiana Democratic Party will hold its convention in 2012 somewhere other than Indianapolis.
The event will be held in Fort Wayne, which was the only city other than the state capital to put in a bid for the convention.
Democratic Party chairman Dan Parker said party officials took nine months to pick the site for 2012.
Park said in the future, the convention might travel to other Hoosier cities as well.
