(Indianapolis, Ind.) - Hoosiers have sent more than 41,000 cards to American servicemen and women this Christmas.

Lieutenant Governor Becky Skillman gave the cards to the Indiana National Guard and U.S. Army Reserve at the Statehouse Tuesday.

The cards are being sent both overseas and domestically as part of Skillman's fifth annual "Hoosier Cheer for our Heroes" campaign.

In the five years, Skillman said more than 127,000 cards have been sent and have come from nearly every county in Indiana.

While the deadline to send greeting cards for the program has passed, you can still submit video greetings to troops by sending a URL link to your video to lg@lg.in.gov.
