Greendale Police say the ramp from U.S. 50 to I-275 has reopened at about 4:00 p.m.
The ramp had been closed most of the day since a semi overturned nearly seven hours earlier. As a result, traffic in the eastbound lanes of U.S. 50 had backed up for nearly a mile and traffic using State Road 1 looking to access I-275 was being diverted to the Kilby Road exit in Whitewater Township, Oh.
Two people were hospitalized. Greendale Police have not released their names or the extent of their injuries.

Greendale Police say various lanes in the I-275 on-ramp will be closed for several hours Wednesday as crews work to clear the scene of an overturned semi.
Two people riding in the semi were taken to the hospital. Their names and the extent of their injuries are unknown.

(Greendale, Ind.) – An overturned semi is slowing traffic on the ramp to Interstate 275 in Greendale Wednesday morning.
Dispatchers say around 9:20 the semi overturned on the on-ramp and is partially hanging over the median wall into one lane of the off-ramp. Cleanup of the accident could take hours.

Injuries are reported in the crash which only involved the truck.
It is unclear what the semi was carrying in its box trailer.
Greendale Police are on the scene of the crash.
