(Rising Sun, Ind.) – A Rising Sun family is out of a home after their burned down Friday afternoon.

Firefighters battle a house fire on Henschen Road in Rising Sun last Friday. |
Firefighters with the Rising Sun Fire Department were called to 3202 Henschen Road where the home was ablaze at about 4:30.
Nobody was hurt, but the home was a complete loss with damage estimated at about $250,000. Crews remained on scene until 9:45 p.m.
A cause remains under investigation said Nick Levi, public information officer with the department
The Rising Sun Fire Department was assisted on the scene by the Bear Branch Fire Department, East Enterprise Fire Department, Aurora Fire Department, and Rising Sun EMS. Ladies Auxiliary and the Ohio County Sheriff’s Department also helped out for a total of 60 personnel.
