(Versailles, Ind.) – An explosion at an agricultural business has shut down U.S. 421 in Ripley County.

Around noon, the explosion and subsequent fire was reported at Laughery Valley Ag Co-op, 3994 U.S. 421.

Dispatchers say there are no injuries currently being reported.

Firefighters and police remain on the scene. U.S. 421 is closed to all traffic for a 2.5 mile stretch between County Road 200 South and County Road 450 South.
