First Church of Christ Burlington KY An Old Kentucky Christmas: First Church of Christ is hosting its annual community event, An Old Kentucky Christmas, on the evenings of December 12th-15th. Come visit Christmas Pioneer Village where you can visit the candle maker's shop, the woodworker's bench, and then snack on Grandma's cookies. Bring the whole family to experience the nostalgia of Christmas form the 1800s. There will be outdoor shops to visit, and a petting zoo, live Nativity, and horse drawn carriage rides. New Haven Elementary Outreach Fundraiser: Union, KY : Come for a sit down, home-cooked meal that supports the families of New Haven Elementary that are having a hard time. Dinner location is the Boone-Union Masonic Lodge at 1883 Mt. Zion Road, Union, KY, 41091. The dinner will be served from 4:00-8:00 p.m. You don't have to even get up, we will bring the dinner to you. Cost is $6 for adult, $10 for a couple, $3 for children under the age of 5. All of the proceeds go to the New Haven Outreach program and supplies two bags of groceries and a present for each child to open Christmas morning. This is our 4th year for the event, and our goal is to raise $1,000 this year. We can't do it without your support and help. We are also taking monetary donations to help us reach our goal. Young Voices Presents: Voices of the Season: Aurora, IN : The auditorium at South Dearborn High School will fill with voices raised in song as Voices of Indiana’s Young Voices presents Voices of the Season, Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Concert goers will be treated to a mix of traditional holiday tunes, lively arrangements, and songs both poignant and whimsical. The four choirs – Kinderchor, Descants, Cantabile and Bel Canto – will be highlighted throughout the evening. There is a suggested donation of $5 per person to benefit the scholarship fund. In addition, a holiday-themed artisan quilt, specifically crafted for Voices of Indiana, will be given away at the concert.
Holiday Ham and Turkey Supper: Union, KY : Help Support the New Haven Outreach Program. The Boone-Union Masonic Lodge will be holding sit-down homemade holiday ham/turkey supper on December 14th. The meals will be served between 4pm and 8pm. The lodge is located at 1883 Mt. Zion Road, in Union, Kentucky. The meal will consist of Ham/Turkey (your choice), green beans, mashed potatoes, dressing, rolls, dessert, and drinks. Prices- Adult $6, Couple $10, Children under 5 $3.
The New Haven Outreach Program will receive 100% of all proceeds for the students. The money will provide two bags of groceries for the families and a present for the children Christmas morning who otherwise would not have a Christmas. Please make checks payable to Boone-Union Masonic Lodge.

Hoxworth Blood Drive: Versailles, IN : McDonald's Versailles has partnered with Hoxworth Blood Center, Univerisiy if Cincinnati to host a Community Blood Drive on Monday, January 6 from 1:00pm-3:15pm and 4:30pm-6:30pm. The Hoxworth Donor Bus will be parked on McDonald's lot, located at 301 S. Adams St. in Versailles, IN. All donors will receive a $5 McDonald's gift card.
To schedule your appointment, please call Hoxworth Blood Center at 1-800-830-1091. Hoxworth recognizes that blood donors' time is valuable. Priority will be given to donors who have scheduled an appointment. Walk-in donors are welcome and will be seen as soon as possible.

The Hoxworth Donor Bus will be parked on the hospital lot, located at 321 Mitchell Road in Batesville Indiana. The blood drive is in honor of Julia Horninger. Every donor will receive a $5 McDonald's gift card.

Fundraiser for Lauren Hill: Lawrenceburg, IN : Please join us for a day of community support on Sunday, January 19th from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at Agner Hall at the Dearborn County Fairgrounds for a spaghetti dinner and a silent auction. Lawrenceburg High School senior Lauren Hill was recently diagnosed with a brain stem glioma (DIPG). Lauren is the daughter of Brent and Lisa sister of Nate and Erin.
